What I am reading right now: The Light at the End of the World by Siddhartha Deb

I just started "The Light at the End of the World"by Siddhartha Deb, and it’s already pulling me in. This book is a mix of history, mystery, and a bit of dystopian sci-fi, all wrapped up in one epic story.
The novel jumps around in time, with stories set in different eras of India’s past and future. There's a journalist in a future Delhi who’s caught up in a conspiracy, an assassin in 1984 Bhopal right before the infamous disaster, a student in 1947 Calcutta who gets tangled up in some ancient Vedic mysteries, and a group of British soldiers chasing a rebel leader in 1859. Each story feels like a piece of a bigger puzzle, and I’m excited to see how they all fit together.
Even though I’m only a few chapters in, the book's already giving me"Cloud Atlas" vibes with its shifting timelines and interconnected stories. It’s definitely an ambitious read, and I’m really enjoying how it explores India’s history and identity in such a unique way.
I can’t wait to see where it goes, and I’ll definitely share more once I’ve finished it.
